Lawmakers Drink Raw Milk and Get Sick Because… It’s Raw Milk

West Virginia recently passed a measure that lifts the ban of unpasteurized milk and in celebration, many lawmakers chugged a tall glass of raw milk. Now they’re sick. Fun fact, the FDA states that raw milk can contain dangerous microorganisms that poses serious health risks, hence why most state governments prohibit distribution of raw milk even with pressure from the dairy industry to lax restrictions. So that stomach ache lawmakers feel right now, well that’s just freedom!
