Alabama

 

Democrats (53 Delegates):

1) Hillary Clinton

2) Bernie Sanders

 

Side Bets:

  • Clinton will crush Sanders and get over 70% of the vote. (Sorry Sanders fans…)

 

 

Republicans (47 Delegates):

1) Donald Trump

2) Marco Rubio

3) Ted Cruz

4) Ben Carson

5) John Kasich

 

Side Bets:

  • Since there is such a high threshold to get delegates (20%), only Trump and Rubio will gain delegates in Alabama.

 

 

Arkansas

 

Democrats (32 Delegates):

1) Hillary Clinton

2) Bernie Sanders

 

Side Bets:

  • Hillary Clinton should win big in this state, Bill Clinton was once a very popular Arkansas Governor here.

 

 

Republicans (37 Delegates):

1) Donald Trump

2) Ted Cruz

3) Marco Rubio

4) Ben Carson

5) John Kasich

 

Side Bets:

  • Cruz doing surprisingly well in this state, especially in the rural areas. Cruz keeps it relatively close to Trump.

  • Because of the 15% threshold and it being a winner-take-most primary, both Kasich and Carson will not get delegates.

 

 

Georgia

Democrats (102 Delegates):

1) Hillary Clinton

2) Bernie Sanders

 

Side Bets:

  • This one ends up being another rough state for the Sanders campaign, with Clinton getting over 70% of the vote.

 

 

Republicans (76 Delegates):

1) Donald Trump

2) Ted Cruz

3) Marco Rubio

4) Ben Carson

5) John Kasich

 

Side Bets:

  • Cruz will just barely, maybe just by a percentage point or two, squeak by Rubio for a second place finish in the state.

  • Because of the high threshold (20%) in the winner-take-most state, only Trump, Cruz, and Rubio will get delegates.

 

 

Massachusetts

 

Democrats (91 Delegates):

1) Hillary Clinton

2) Bernie Sanders

 

Side Bets:

  • While Clinton will win out the state, it will be an incredibly close race between her and Sanders.

 

 

Republicans (39 Delegates):

1) Donald Trump

2) Marco Rubio

3) John Kasich

4) Ted Cruz

5) Ben Carson

 

Side Bets:

  • The fight for second place between Rubio and Kasich will be closer than people are expecting.

 

 

Oklahoma

 

Democrats (38 Delegates):

1) Bernie Sanders

2) Hillary Clinton

 

Side Bets:

  • Sanders gets the win in an incredibly close race (less than one percentage point difference).

  • Oklahoma will have to do a recount to determine who won the race.

 

 

Republicans (40 Delegates):

1) Donald Trump

2) Marco Rubio

3) Ted Cruz

4) Ben Carson

5) John Kasich

 

Side Bets:

  • Cruz will underperform in Oklahoma, giving Rubio second place.

  • Only Trump, Rubio, and Cruz will gain delegates.

 

 

Tennessee

 

Democrats (67 Delegates):

1) Hillary Clinton

2) Bernie Sanders

 

Side Bets:

  • Tennessee’s African-American bloc will be the difference and they’ll give their support behind Clinton.

 

 

Republicans (58 Delegates):

1) Donald Trump

2) Marco Rubio

3) Ted Cruz

4) Ben Carson

5) John Kasich

 

Side Bets:

  • Because of the high threshold in the winner-take-most primary, only Trump and Rubio will gain delegates.

  • Cruz will barely miss the threshold cutoff, coming in just under 20%.

 

 

Texas

 

Democrats (222 Delegates):

1) Hillary Clinton

2) Bernie Sanders

 

Side Bets:

  • Clinton gets a HUGE win in Texas and this is the state that essentially propels her to the nomination.

 

 

Republicans (155 Delegates):

1) Ted Cruz

2) Donald Trump

3) Marco Rubio

4) John Kasich

5) Ben Carson

 

Side Bets:

  • Because of the threshold (20%), only Cruz and Trump take away delegates in Texas.

  • Rubio will barely miss the threshold cut at 20%.

 

 

Vermont

 

Democrats (16 Delegates):

1) Bernie Sanders

2) Hillary Clinton

 

Side Bets:

  • Sanders is so dominant in Vermont that he will flirt with getting 90% of the vote.

  • Sanders supporters will wish Bernie Sanders was from Texas by the time Super Tuesday is over.

 

 

Virginia

 

Democrats (95 Delegates):

1) Hillary Clinton

2) Bernie Sanders

 

Side Bets:

  • Sanders will be more competitive than people think, but Clinton will win big in Virginia.

 

 

Republicans (Delegates 46):

1) Donald Trump

2) Marco Rubio

3) Ted Cruz

4) John Kasich

5) Ben Carson

 

Side Bets:

  • Because Virginia’s primary is a proportional allocation system, both Trump and Cruz will get generally the same number of delegates, with Trump getting on or two more than Cruz.

 

 

Aftermath of Super Tuesday

 

Democrats:

1) Hillary Clinton

2) Bernie Sanders

 

Side Bets:

  • Clinton’s performance in Super Tuesday essentially gives her the nomination.

  • Even though Clinton had an impressive performance on Super Tuesday, Sanders doesn’t dropout of the primaries.

 

 

Republicans:

1) Donald Trump

2) Marco Rubio

3) Ted Cruz

4) John Kasich

5) Ben Carson

 

Side Bets:

  • The GOP primaries become a two-man race between Donald Trump and Marco Rubio, with Trump asserting a commanding lead.

  • Ted Cruz will still stay in the race even though he took a couple tough losses in some states.

  • John Kasich will drop out after a poor performance in Super Tuesday.

  • Ben Carson will continue to make comments like this.
