Presidential Debate Schedule Was Announced for 2016

Debates

So they released the Presidential debate schedule for 2016… hey where are you going? Come back! We don’t have to talk about debates! How about that Pizza Rat in New York? You guys love him, right?! WE CAN TALK ABOUT THAT!!

So if you aren’t tired of debates by 2016, yesterday the Commission on Presidential Debates announced the presidential debate schedule for the following year. As usual, there will be three presidential and one vice-presidential debates. The schedule goes:

  • September 26th, 2016: Dayton, OH (Wright State University)

  • October 4th, 2016: Farmville, VA (Longwood University) – This is the VP Debate

  • October 9th, 2016: St. Louis, MO (Washington University – St. Louis)

  • October 19th, 2016: Las Vegas, NV (University of Nevada – Las Vegas)

It’s really interesting that the debates are so bunched together and so close to the November election. That’s actually a good thing, because by then a candidate’s issues are set in stone, which makes for better contrast of the candidates. It still hasn’t been decided yet who will moderate the debates, but usually that’s chosen at a later date. So for you 100,000 lunatics that wanted Jon Stewart to host a presidential debate, the dream is still alive!
